I grew up in Sacramento California surrounded by a loving family, and many good memories, of them friends, and good times growing up.

And yes, that is why I had Bob, Carrol, Rick, and Sherri from that great little town, after all we pull from our positives when we write.

However, being raised in Sacramento, is just part of the story because our family is from the Ozarks in Southern Missouri.

That part of our family which has history starting in the early 1800's, includes most of the older members of the family, and our California family an offshoot in Sacramento.

My stories pull from many of the places that I have lived in overseas, from living in Gaeta Italy, and in Athens, and also to places I have traveled in Egypt and other North African countries. My later stories come from my time in Europe, and starts in book three.

 My experiences in PBS, Engineering, and working in theater, all play a role in the plots and how I work my stories.

The Navy was great for me, and the video on the drill team, was for me a nice add, because I was privileged to be on the Great Lakes Navy Drill Team while in A school, I even still have my jacket somewhere. Go Navy.
